When we moved to California, one of our neighbors caught Kyle on the way back from one of his runs to give him this little welcome gift. I love how just a bright cheery ribbon on a few fun packaged items looks! What a great idea to give a candle too. Amidst all of the unpacking and craziness of moving in, I got to smell vanilla. Now what is better than that?

I also think it’s great to give packaged things; as much as I want to believe in the “bake a cake for a neighbor” idea, the truth is, you don’t know them, and you don’t know what’s in that cake. . . I know, a New Jersey way of me to think, but it’s true.
